Ravenclaw and Stripey

I saw a necklace on Etsy, that was made with an R charm and a hammered ring. It also held beads the house colors of Ravenclaw. I liked the design so much, I wanted to make my own variation.

This variation, is made with a 13mm hammered ring, a sterling silver, script R charm, two 4mm sapphire beads,  and one bronze bead.
The chain is 16" long 2mm leather cord, and Silk ribbon, with a lobster clasp.
It's quite lovely, and certainly shows the Ravenclaw spirit!

While outside, I snapped a picture of Stripey, the neighbor's tabby while he was enjoying an evening of relaxation on the trampoline in my front yard.
He was very photogenic as well as helpful when he jumped down from the trampoline to help me take pictures of the necklace. He was continuously reaching up my leg with his front paws, begging for attention.

And this is one of the colors of Gladiolas growing in the front flower bed.
I think that white is clean and pure, without flaws or mistakes. Which is why I love any flower that is white.
